While living the life that many could only dream of, J. Brian Hill was literally traveling the world working in the travel industry, but yet he wasn't happy. Deep in his heart, his calling to music, embedded when only 12 years old, was screaming out at him. Sure, he would dabble in a few solos at church, joined the choir, and lead a few worship services. He even continued to write songs just to fill that empty spot in his heart, but it wasn't enough.Brian's parents constantly reminded him of his calling into the music ministry, and still do! His wife Cathy not only believes in what God is doing in his life through lyric and song, but she encouraged him to go full time into the music ministry 10 years ago. Brian shares, "I have a circle of friends who hold me accountable, in prayer, support and advice. They hold my feet to the ground. Encourage me when needed…and correct me if that arises as well."After tours in the United States and Europe, five albums, and numerous awards, Brian was starting to think it was time to sit back and focus on his songwriting. But God had a different plan; He wasn't through with him. Brian just released his fifth project, "Blessed by Love," and will be touring throughout the United States and the United Kingdom in 2009.Brian resides in the Chicago, IL area and has three beautiful children. He and his wife has plans to adopt another soon.
